Life with Anna

 I spend most of my days working on my mental health,
building a farm, remodeling my home, and I recently went back to school. It’s been… slow going, to say the least. And nothing goes according to plan. But one step at a time. Before you build anything up, sometimes you need to tear it down first.

This will never happen again

Three years ago, my family chose the beach over the mountains. I chose to keep the farm. Since then, I have chased pigs, set my home and barn on fire (two separate incidences, same week), and I fought a goose and won. I have even fought off roaches and rats that were so big they would make a grown man scream. Huh… maybe I should have gone to the beach too.

Nah, I love my life here in the mountains of Appalachia. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love learning and building my life right here with my two dogs. 

Always watching

Thank you for sticking with me this far. My goal with this blog is to share my stories. What works, what went wrong, and even my own stupidity because why not? As well as start conversations about mental health and how that impacts life in general. 

Growing up it was never a subject that was talked about or really acknowledged. So I want to use this space to share what I have learned about myself, ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety.
